  Rose’s hair comb was based on an antique. There are many replicas of various quality that can be found for sale but none are completely accurate to the original. On the officially licensed replica sold by J. Peterman, the butterfly’s antenna are pressed outwards and almost touching the wings. The wing tips are black. It has ten tines on the comb and is marked 1998 Fox. Another version was made by Jill Bailey and has seven tines on the comb, and the butterfly has dark blue wing tips.
