  Several Heart of the Ocean necklaces were custom made by Asprey & Garrard from cubic zirconia for use in the film. Another necklace, later worn to the Oscars by Celine Dion, was made using a 171-carat blue sapphire and 103 diamonds. An official replica, which is shown here, was sold by J. Peterman.

  The central stone is not a true heart shape, and more of a triangle with rounded points.
