It Ends With Us
follows Lily Bloom (Blake Lively), a woman who moves to Boston and starts her own flower shop. After her father's funeral, she meets a charming neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni). They fall in love, but Ryle eventually turns abusive, echoing Lily's traumatic childhood watching her father abuse her mother.
